!!! TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS !!!
The Wolfpack 09 team went 6-0 this weekend, winning the Celine Wyatt Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio. Super proud of these girls for a great overall weekend, for withstanding the HEAT, for dealing with some very small strike zones and for holding off some great competition.
Kudos to our 3 slappers who had one of their best weekends at putting the ball in play and using their speed to force mistakes. As well, our outfield play gave our team a boost by taking away a handful of long balls including 2 great catches by Championship game MVP Nevaeh. Kudos to our pitchers and catchers for withstanding the heat and playing well all weekend!
Overall it was a great TEAM effort! Team is heading to the World Series @ Berliner this weekend which will conclude our season.
